A Pollinators Paradise

A garden jointly designed by Christine Prebble (mosaicdesign) and Katrina Christison (tidygardens)

This garden was designed to feature a range of plants which attract pollinators.
The result was an abundant and buzzing garden full of annuals, perennials, herbs and edibles for many different pollinator species.

The garden featured insect shelters and insect feeders to be filled with water in the summer and nectar in the winter when food is scarce.  Ribbons of CorTen steel were used to defined the terraces and stairs leading to a seating area topped with two steel rings, a symbol of friendship of the garden's creators.
