Chris's love affair with plants began in Christchurch with parents who keenly gardened their quarter acre section.
​
In her first job she worked as an artist and scientific illustrator for the Horticulture Department at Lincoln University, followed by many years as a designer and Art director for the Public sector in Wellington.
​
In 2011, she decided to combine her design flair and plant knowledge with landscape construction enabling her to move into a career which would take her out of the office and into the garden.
​
Chris has studied Botany (BSc), Art History (GradDipArts) and Landscaping (Certificate in Landscape Construction (Merit)).
